Erin Hoopes, Principal Designer & Project Coordinator
Erin grew up in Old Town Alexandria and has been with Virginia Kitchens since 2007. Upon completing her interior design degree at James Madison University, Erin chose to focus her career on the complexities of kitchen design. With experience in both the construction and client service industries, Erin is able to manage a project from design to installation. Without a doubt, her keen sense of views, colors, and organizational talents allow her to guide clients through an ideal kitchen or bath remodeling experience. Her design advice has been featured in the Washington Post House Calls section and Better Homes and Gardens. With over 100 kitchens in her portfolio, Erin's talent and resources will assist each client in achieving their dream space.
Harry Braswell, LEED AP, Manager
A native of Old Town Alexandria, Harry graduated from the University of Virginia in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. After serving as a superintendent for Paul J. Mathis for three years, Harry began doing independent restoration work in the Old Town area and in 1982 formed Harry Braswell, Inc. After being in the business for over 25 years, he recognized the need for a kitchen company that provided quality design and timely delivery of cabinets, so he formed Virginia Kitchens. As President, Harry keeps actively involved in the company by overseeing the day-to-day business operations and ongoing projects.
Kim Carr, LEED AP, Administrator
Kim completed her B.A. at William and Mary and her M.A. in counseling from Southeastern Seminary. Prior to joining Virginia Kitchens, she worked in both new construction, assisting clients with surface and fixture selections in custom homes, and insurance restoration, working with homeowners and insurance companies on natural disaster related repairs. Currently, Kim assists with administrative tasks, company marketing and recruiting. She also researches green materials and products and oversees compliance with green building programs such as LEED.
Jonnie Hicks, Accounting
Jonnie attended Virginia Commonwealth University with a concentration in Accounting. She has experience including working for an electrical contractor and completing real-estate courses. Jonnie is responsible for all the accounts receivables/payables, project invoicing, office personnel, and the company insurance/payroll.
